Latest updates from the saidWot team
2012-05-14 saidWot now has a new Joburg Home
We have now settled in our new home in Bryanston. The move went relatively smoothly, and our teams are all up and running and ready to roll. Our new space is much larger, more inviting and more fun than our last, and as we continue to grow we're ready to accommodate new staff members.
Although every endeavour has been made to ensure no downtime, we know that sometimes things can slip through the cracks. So, if you do find any problems that were not there a week or so ago, let us know and we'll check if we missed anything.
Have a great day,
The saidWot Team
2012-05-03 Exciting times ahead as saidWot grows
saidWot is growing - in more ways than one!
Soon we'll be relocating our South African headquarters to Bryanston to accommodate our growing staff contingent. We are also on the verge of launching some exciting new products (more about that later though). And just for good measure, we will also be making some critical changes to our systems to further enhance speed and scalability.
We're moving! Next week, saidWot will move into our new home in Bryanston. A design and construction team are currently putting the finishing touches on our new offices, and we are all very excited to be moving. Watch our Facebook page and Twitter where we'll update with photos and info as we move in.
In the past few months, our systems have stabilised dramatically and we've seen an explosion of data going through our servers. Our data teams have been hard at work along with our developers making constant improvements to the system. As a whole, we've experienced 100% uptime for 2 months running, and only 0.5% downtime since January, which is a remarkable achievement given the complexity of the data and source we have to work with. Our services are scaling exceptionally well, and we look forward to bringing several new improvements online in the coming weeks.
We are also beta testing some incredible new offerings. In the coming weeks we'll announce these in more detail, so watch this space. For now, some clients will be happy to learn that we are now offering REST based services to access some of our data services. For more information on the REST API, contact info@saidwot.com.

2011-01-24 2 New Added Features
Sentiment tracker:
The sentiment tracker, which you can find back on the dashboard, gives you an overview of all the positive and negative mentions that have come in for a brand for a specific date set. It furthermore provides you with the average sentiment for the brand based on the credibility of the person or site posting the comment. This is graphically displayed as a line graph that runs over the volume bars. The graph does not display neutral mentions that may have been posted regarding the brand, as these do not impact the brand in a positive or negative manner.
As the graph is on the dashboard, you can use the same filtering options at the top to customise the graph (example: date range, campaign based, platform based, etc.)
Key Influencers:
The objective of the key influencers feature on the application is to allow you to see the brand impact of one person regardless of the platform they mention the brand on. In other words, if Mr X speaks about Brand A on a regular basis on various platforms, you can combine these platforms and see the overall impact this person has on Brand A.
2010-09-13 Reputation Score update
This serves to inform you that there is a scheduled time from 17:00 to 18:30 to update the Reputation Score calculations for TwitLonger, TwitPic, TweetPhoto and Digg mentions. The update will be backdated for all mentions in your accounts from the 1st of September.
